Cody's Original Roadhouse Newsletter

Problem

The Cody’s Original Roadhouse had a rapid decline in ROI and KPI due to the channel not being fully utilized. My task was to bring life into the newsletter with fresh content and a new look while also meeting KPIs and ROI goals.

Solution

I laid the proper foundation by creating various templates, toolbars, buttons, graphics, and copywriting material. In addition, I developed three automated email campaigns, each featuring a coupon for Cody’s Original Roadhouse to entice potential subscribers and keep existing subscribers.

Managing the newsletter, I created various automated email campaigns for corporate and individual location efforts. These campaigns catered to achieving ROI and advertising for gift card sales, online food orders, reservations, specials, hiring, etc. To promote the newsletter to gain more signups, I utilized the social media marketing channel by creating additional content to promote it on the proper social media platforms.

Lastly, I optimized my campaigns by A/B testing various copywriting, graphics, email automation pipelines, delivery times, email body placement, etc. After testing, I would track campaign performance and optimize based on analytical data from previous campaigns.

Results

During my time managing the Cody’s Club email newsletter, it saw:

• Subscriber Growth Rate: 25.24% (169.22% Increase)
• Unsubscribe Rate: 0.24 (46.51% Decrease)
• Average Email Open Rate: 35.03% (84.89% Increase)
• Average Click-Through Rate: 5.32% (789.68% Increase)
• Average Conversion Rate: 3.72% (1140% Increase)
• Overall ROI: 4552.64% (81.35% Increase)
